Our Beliefs
Our membership is made up of professing, born-again Christians who are active in our ministry, are current church
members of an evangelical, bible-believing church, are pursuing Jesus, and who are pursuing obedience to Biblical
teachings in both moral conduct and beliefs.
We believe:
- In Jesus Christ’s literal death, burial, and resurrection.
- In man’s sinful nature and separation from God without Jesus’s saving grace.
- Jesus as the only begotten son of God and the only bridge between God and man, and believing in his power to save and keep those who he calls unto himself.
- There is only one God, who is revealed in the trinity of the Father (Yahweh/Jehovah), the son (Yeshua/Jesus), and The Holy Spirit.
- Jesus is God and any teaching otherwise is inconsistent with the Bible’s teaching.
- There is only one necessary work of grace to receive salvation and that every saved believer receives the indwelling Holy Spirit when they believe on Jesus for salvation and repent of their sinful nature, believing in Jesus’ as their personal savior, and submitting themselves to him as their Lord and king.
- In traditional marriage between one man and one woman only, and in the traditional belief that God made them male and female at birth and our sex and gender are one in the same and cannot be changed. God has made us who we are and has given clear roles and duties to each person.
- That as males and females we are co-heirs and equals, but we reject sameness as that’s a rejection of God’s purpose for each life and that false teaching hurts people and the gospel.
- In a literal Great Flood, literal six days of creation, and a literal Heaven and Hell.
- In the Holy Bible as our authority on all subjects, as well as agreeing that we are to test the spirits with the Bible as our authority. If a spirit, belief, or what we think is the Holy Spirit is in disagreement with what Holy scripture in the Bible teaches, then we are to question and/or reject that belief and study, pray, humble ourselves to ask God for wisdom to understand scripture better and how to discern if spirits are of God or others.
- That adulterers, fornicators, liars, thieves, and homosexuals are living a life outside of God’s intended purpose for them, and it’s not acceptable for someone in open denial of these things as being sins to have a leadership voice or position within the Christian community. We are all sinners, so we do love and pray for all other sinners and admit that we fall short ourselves, but that doesn’t include giving leadership positions or yielding to worldly movements away from fundamental Christian faith.
- In the traditional evangelical teachings on morality and that Christians should strive to live a holy, moral, upright life according to Biblical scripture.
The ideals and goals we strive towards:
Men who lead and provide for their family, develop a rewarding trade, are honest, faithful, and love their wives and children.
(1 Timothy 5:8, Proverbs 27:17, Proverbs 27:8, Colossians 3:19, 1 Peter 3:7)
Women who love their husbands and children, are busy at home, and are self- controlled, pure, and kind.
(Proverbs 31, Titus 2:3-5)
Love and devotion for God, to His word, to fellowship with fellow believers, and to the breaking of bread together.
(Acts 2:42-47)
Children who are raised in the faith, in a positive loving environment. We believe in Home School and Christian School.
(Proverbs 22:6)
Helping those in need. Doing to others as we’d have them do to us. Loving people unconditionally and putting people above possessions.
(Acts: 2:42-27, Matthew 7:12, Isaiah 58)
We believe in increasing what God has provided to us. Increasing in knowledge, in wisdom, in love, and in finances. We actively strive to help each other have housing, grow a business, get a good job, spend more time with family, adopt children, have children, find love, find friendship, and most importantly to lead people to the salvation that only Jesus brings.
(Matthew 25:14-30)
